Purrysburg WTP Expansion

Reeves Young was selected as the General Contractor for this multi-faceted water treatment plant upgrade and expansion project. The scope of work included installation of new pumps at the river, reservoir, transfer, and high-pressure pump stations. It also included chemical feed facility enhancements, including the incorporation of new tanks, pumps, and modern sodium hypochlorite onsite generation equipment as well as the construction of a weir flow splitting facility, a PAC contactor, and static rapid mix equipment. The team was also responsible for installation of a new flocculation and sedimentation basin, five new dual media filters, and various valves and piping. Key enhancements were also made to the instrumentation and controls, and electrical systems and controls.
