The city of Avondale Estates received a proposal from Reeves Young to construct the market pavilion portion of the town green project. The town green project includes the construction on four-acres of the land. About two acres will be a park, and the other two acres will be the commercial development. The site is located along Highway 278/ North Avondale Road between Lake and Oak Streets. “We anticipate full completion of the park to be done in April and then full completion of the pavilion to be concluded sometime during the month of June,” City Manager Patrick Bryant said.
