Town Center on Main and Delay Nature Park

Reeves Young played a key role in the Suwanee Town Center on Main, a 25-acre project that seamlessly combines preservation and development to create a vibrant community destination. The project preserved 15 acres of the site while transforming approximately 10 acres into a dynamic park featuring a variety of amenities. These include a pedestrian bridge spanning the entire site, large water features, open lawn areas, volleyball courts, merchant setup areas, restroom buildings, and hardscapes, all thoughtfully designed to enhance functionality and visitor experience.

A signature feature of the park is an elevated, multi-use pedestrian bridge that serves as both a functional and iconic architectural element. Starting near the library, the bridge rises over a roadway and water feature, curving along the edges of two expansive lawn areas before landing at the hilltop terrace plaza. The project also emphasizes public art, with multiple locations throughout the park designated for large-scale installations. Building on Suwanee’s successful public art initiative, the park creates opportunities for monumental artworks to be incorporated during initial construction or in future phases, adding cultural and aesthetic value to the space. Reeves Young’s expertise ensured the delivery of a cohesive, multifunctional park that serves as a community hub for recreation and engagement.
