Giles County Courthouse Renovation

Reeves Young undertook the 32,700-square-foot renovation of a historic courthouse with the goal of restoring and modernizing the building while preserving its architectural heritage. Listed on the State of Tennessee Historic Registry, the project included critical structural repairs, exterior envelope improvements, and the integration of advanced security and fire suppression systems. Upgrades to the HVAC and electrical systems ensured the building meets contemporary standards of safety, accessibility, and energy efficiency. Additionally, public spaces were enhanced with modern, energy-efficient features that complement the building’s historic character, delivering a functional and revitalized facility that honors its legacy.
