Reeves Young is providing construction management at risk services for this project, which includes the demolition of existing building additions, the renovation of approximately 65,000 SF of the original building, and a 65,000 SF addition. The project will feature 29,000 SF of student and maker space, including capstone project areas, maker spaces and shops, a machine shop, student organization spaces, and meeting and presentation rooms. Additionally, it will include 32,000 SF of biomedical cross-disciplinary space, encompassing biomedical engineering research labs and offices, as well as research labs and faculty offices for computer science, chemical and materials engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering, and electrical and computer engineering.
